During April 2015, the Taff Explorer Scouts volunteered to paint the benches, bollards, bike racks, bins and Town Pump in The Bullring.
The street furniture was desperately in need of a face lift and the Community Council provided the paint and gained permission from RCT Borough Council and Llantrisant Town Trust to paint the items. The area is seen by many visitors to the area and is a popular place to sit and watch the world go by – however it certainly did not create a very good image – but now, thanks to the hard work of the Explorer Scouts the Bullring is very much improved.
