BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Beddau, though raised in Aberdare, but I have been back living locally for over ten years.
I’m the Secretary of Litter-Free Beddau. I’m also one of the volunteers who looks after Tynant Woods, keeping it clean and managing the habitat to enhance biodiversity in the area. I am involved in the INCC Marsh Fritillary Project which has worked with Llantrisant Town Trust to try and reintroduce this rare butterfly to Llantrisant Common. I work with children in local schools on environmental and local community issues too, as well as running the gardening project in the grounds of Ysgol Gymraeg Castellau .
I think I will have a strong contribution to make especially around the local environment but also about what we can do to raise awareness of the Council and its work, and the contribution it makes to life in our village
