BIOGRAPHY
I have lived in Tynant for over 50 years. I am married with one daughter and two grandchildren. I was a Taff Ely Borough Councillor for 14 years and have been on the Community Council for the over 15 years. I have spent most of my working life at Cwm Colliery where I was a compensation secretary for the lodge. I have also been a School Governor at Bryncelynog and YGG Castellau. I have previously been Chair for three terms. I served as a Committee Person and Trustee of the Cwm & Llantwit Welfare Hall for nearly 50 years. I take an interest in local sport, especially rugby and for the last 2 years have been Chair of Tynant Allotment Association, and would describe myself as a fairly keen gardener.
