In July 2025, the Parish Office moved to Llys y Cwm Gwaunmiskin Road Beddau, it is open to members of the public, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 1.30 pm.

Public Services
Primarily the office administrates the work of the Councillor’s, but it is also a base for members of the public to contact the Council with concerns, requests and queries regarding Community Council business. The office also offers photocopying services for a small charge and has a supply of RCT Recycling Bags.
The meeting room at Llys y Cwm is available in the evening for hire by members of the public and community groups.
The Community Council Staff
Clerk to the Council – Mr. Geraint Hopkins J.P.
Geraint is the Clerk and Proper Officer to Llantrisant Community Council. He works 32 hours per week. Geraint has been active in Local Government for over 20 years both as a Community Councillor for Llanharan, Borough Councillor and Member of the Cabinet for RCTCBC. He joined Llantrisant Community Council in 2021. email clerk@llantrisant-cc.gov.wales
Deputy Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer – Alison Jenkins
The Deputy Clerk & Responsible Financial Officer has been with the Council since October 2006. Alison works 25 hours per week and as well as general office administration and all of the financial affairs of the Council she is responsible for Allotments and Events.
Events & Public Engagement Officer – Stephanie Todd
Stephanie started with Llantrisant Community Council in September 2023 as temporary cover. Now employed 10 hours per week, Stephanie assists the Clerk and Deputy Clerk with general office administration duties and processes hall hire bookings, invoicing and enquiries about our venues.
General Maintenance Manager – Jason Akers
Jason started with Llantrisant Community Council in January 2018 as Halls Caretaker. In March 2021, he became the Asset Supervisor, the role was reviewed in early 2022 and Jason took on the title of General Maintenance Manager . He ensures the organisation of all Council’s systems for the maintenance of assets, open spaces, buildings, property and rights of way.
General Maintenance Officer – Gareth Povey
Gareth started with Llantrisant Community Council in September 2023. The primary function of Gareth’s role is to ensure that all Council’s assets, open spaces, buildings, property and rights of way are well maintained, safe and fit for purpose.
Halls Caretaker – Amanda Stokes
Mandy started with Llantrisant Community Council in September 2022. Mandy ensures that the three Community Halls that we hire to community groups and the general public, are safe and presentable , clean and tidy. This extends to the office space . You may even see Mandy out and about helping Jason and Gareth.
