The Community Council owns and maintains nearly 30 bus shelters, over 100 benches and a number of notice boards within each of the 4 wards, as well as a village clock in Beddau. There are 8 alley gates in Tynant and 2 historic water pumps in Llantrisant.

Some of our benches commemorate special events such as VE day, WW1 and WW2, and Beddau born paralympian Sara Head’s achievements.

Members of voluntary organisations and non-profit making local groups are welcome to contact the Parish Office with posters of upcoming events for display in the Community Notice Boards throughout the wards. In total there are 11 notice boards.

There are over 30 planters and over 100 hanging baskets throughout the 4 wards. These are planted and erected in May each year and the baskets are usually removed during October.  In 2023 the bedding plants in the planters were replaced with perennials.

The Community Council has an agency agreement with RCTCBC to litter pick various lanes in the area. In return RCTCBC empty the Community Council owned bins and dog bins in the area. There is also a variety of stones/plaques throughout the ward to commemorate various events, including 6 Menhier stones to mark the ancient boundary of Llantrisant.
